How to Use Flaxseeds

  • Ground Flaxseeds: Best for digestion. Add 1-2 tablespoons to smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, or salads.
  • Whole Flaxseeds: Can be soaked overnight and added to water or drinks.
  • Flaxseed Tea: Boil 1 tablespoon of flaxseeds in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes, strain, and drink.
  • Baking: Use ground flaxseeds as an egg replacement (1 tbsp flax + 3 tbsp water = 1 egg).
